Michael Wilbur is an independent consultant specialising in patient advocacy and corporate affairs. He began his career in research and management consulting at CEB (now Gartner), and then went on to hold leadership roles in public health and the non-profit sector. This includes ten years at NHS England and NHS Improvement and six years as Chief Operating Officer at EURORDIS–Rare Diseases Europe, where he worked closely with patient communities, policymakers and industry partners across Europe to advance rare disease policy and strengthen patient engagement in research and care.  Michael lives in Paris with his cat Pitchoune and his dog Alfie.
