Divi’s journey began in 2023 when she was discovered by Jeff, a local stray feeder, rummaging through the bins outside a “DiviMart” supermarket. Frightened, alone, and severely underweight, she was also suffering from a debilitating case of mange. It was clear that without immediate intervention, Divi wouldn’t survive much longer on the streets.
Age: 3 years old
Personality: Intelligent, eager to please, and a true “social butterfly” once she’s found her feet.
Healing from the Inside Out: While our veterinary team successfully treated her physical ailments, Divi’s emotional recovery took a little more time. Initially, she remained very nervous and shy, often retreating when new people visited the Centre. Everything changed when she met Milly, a fellow rescue dog. The two forged an inseparable bond, and through Milly’s friendship, Divi finally found her confidence. Today, they are rarely seen apart, and Divi has transformed into a playful, joyful dog who absolutely loves to please.
A Bright Future: Divi is exceptionally intelligent and thrives on mental stimulation. She loves nothing more than learning new skills and taking on challenges with our kennelmates.
