Rudy (or “Rudolph” to his closest friends) was a special Christmas rescue from Bulacan. When our team found him, he was heartbreakingly fragile; he was almost entirely bald from severe mange, and his eyes were hollow and sunken. Unlike many strays who develop a tough exterior to survive, Rudy was quiet and lacked confidence, appearing overwhelmed by the world around him.

A Physical Transformation Rudy’s recovery remains one of the most dramatic physical transformations we have ever witnessed at the Centre. His calm temperament served him well during his treatment; he was incredibly compliant with our veterinary team, allowing them to treat his skin and restore his health without any fuss. Slowly, his strength returned, his eyes brightened, and his coat grew back, revealing the handsome dog he was always meant to be.
