Bantay arrived at the Centre in 2022 alongside his sister, Dixie. His owner was concerned about his increasing aggression, but our team saw a dog that was simply insecure and misunderstood. Through dedicated, patient work with our kennelmates, Bantay has undergone a complete transformation. While he still likes to announce visitors with a signature loud bark, the aggression he once showed is a thing of the past; he is now a secure friendly dog who just needs a little time to build trust.

Seeing them navigate life together shows just how much Bantay has settled. He has blossomed from a “problem” dog into a social resident who is now able to live peacefully and happily alongside both humans and his fellow dogs.
