We thank all our generous supporters and loyal followers in what has been another challenging year. Despite restrictions, we have successfully rescued and re-homed several dogs and started work on a brand new treatment centre. We ask you to please keep following our work in the Philippines in 2022!
Mange is a skin disease caused by mites. There are two types of mange which can be contracted by dogs – sarcoptic and demodectic. Most dogs we rescue present with mange, whilst uncomfortable, normally it can be easily treated.
Rudy is an adult male dog who was abandoned on the street and left to fend for himself. Dogs like Rudy don’t have the same street sense as those born as strays, it’s unlikely Rudy will have survived much longer if we hadn’t stepped in.
